We are delighted to introduce as a part of this exciting cross-training program, which brings together the expertise of skateIA, Rollerblade®, Professional Ski Instructors of America® (PSIA), US Ski and Snowboard®, and National Ski Patrol®. This skateIA endorsement, proudly sponsored by Rollerblade®, equips coaches from PSIA,  USSS, National Ski Patrol, Leaders from Ski Clubs and more, with the tools needed to teach skiers how to skate and progress through the Skate to Ski training system.  The purpose of this endorsement is to provide ski instructors and coaches with a fresh perspective on off-season training, integrating inline skating and skiing techniques.

The endorsement will focus your efforts on mastering the teaching model, perfecting your demonstrations, and enjoying the learning process, ensuring you have all the tools for success. 

Earning this endorsement equips you to confidently introduce inline skating to skiers and snowsports enthusiasts. You’ll be able to share valuable off-season training skills with your clients and community, helping them stay engaged and improve their skiing performance year-round

Hello from Nancy & Debbie!

Ready to take your skiing to the next level—on wheels? Welcome to the all-new Skate to Ski Endorsement, developed by SkateIA and proudly sponsored by Rollerblade. Led by experienced skating professionals, this dynamic program is designed to help you harness the power of inline skating as a proven off-season training tool for skiers. Whether you're looking to improve your own skills, share the benefits with your club, or become an endorsed leader, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Experience Matters: Combined experience in inline skating, alpine skiing of more than 6 decades combined!  

Nancy has more than 25 years experience as a PSIA Level 3 ski instructor and 4 years as a skateIA certified instructor for inline skating.  She began her snow sports career 10 years as a ski patroller at Killington, VT.  Her passion for the sport is what drives her and she loves sharing her experience and inspiring others to skate and ski!

Debbie has been an examiner with PSIA in the Northwest and has been an examiner with skateIA for more than 15 years.  She is a certified Life Coach and Nordic Walking certified instructor too! Based in Orange County, California Debbie is passionate to help all people reach their potential.

As a team we bring you this Skate to Ski endorsement sponsored by Rollerblade and supported by skateIA.  We think that you will love the curriculum and opportunity to share with your clients and community in the off season! 

skateIA Skate to Ski Endorsement is for avid skiers and inline skaters. Our base program will help you learn inline skating skills to get started.
