It’s Scavenger Hunt Sunday!
Hope you enjoy my photos!
Please leave a comment if you stop by!
Mood
My interpretation is to find a mood that vividly is shown in the photos — see below some of my favorite photos of the week from the Challenger Soccer Camp in Amherst. I posted these to the Wall of Challenger for their photo contest too. Love them! Kids with the sweet sense of victory…. the reward? A world cup “trophy” made with a cone, soccer ball and a “smelly” pinny on top. “Priceless”
There is nothing more masculine than my husband — love this photo of him in the boat when we hosted our British & Braziallian visitors. He is amazing on waterskis — my “rock star” —- SO i love.
Something Feminine
Coach Marian from Brazil had this tatoo on her side — I thought it was a nice strong feminine statement of power & desire and how soccer fuels her strength. The placement on the curve of her body just makes even more beautiful. It is in Portuguese so I am going to have to interpret it and get back to you!

And direct from Marian – here is the translation to english. 🙂
“for the desire that I can’t hold
because in my blood is always present
for the emotions that make me feel
Soccer is my passion
my reason of living”

Your first or last initial
I love the color of these hand made black pearl earrings and necklace given to me as a gift from one of Steve’s ski clients. They are so beautiful! I found this old piece of jewelry with my initial — the orange just sets it off really nicely.
Architecture
Edwards Church windows from my trip to Northampton — I really love the symmetry of these church windows.
Scavenger Hunt Sunday is one of my favorite photo challenges…. helps me to look at all my photos and select those that may fit the interpretation of the category. It is great to see others work and interpretation, motivating me to get better shots myself. Hope you enjoyed my interpretations this week. Join in by following the rules below… so much fun! Happy Sunday!
The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge.
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Monday at the latest) – you can use the new button.
- Have fun!
