Knots of Garlic

Homemade Garlic Knots ❤️. Using the recipe handed down from my mom to make basic roll dough, I make these amazing Gatlic Knots. This is Schuyler’s favorite treat when we go to Stowe, where he gets his favorite knots from Picasso Restaurant. I make these knots from the basic dough recipe and melted butter with fresh crushed garlic and parsley to create these beauties 💕

Amazing Garlic Knots!

Garlic Knots

In a bowl mix:
2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp salt
Add: 1/2 cup water
Add: 1 cup scalded milk
Add: (be sure mixture is not to hot) – 1 pack active dry yeast
Let set for 10 min until bubbling
Add: 1/2 cup flour (King Arthur Flour is BEST)
Add: 1 egg (make sure it is at room temperature)- mix together
Add: 3 cups more flour to create the dough
Let set for 1 hour to rise covered with a dish towel (double in size)

Roll out dough, cut into strips — roll them to make small \”logs\” and then twist them up into a knot.

Melt one stick of salted butter and add fresh pressed garlic – then brush the garlic butter on the knots and sprinkle with parsley.

Cook:

15 minutes
