The first of this series of photos is my favorite of “LaKota”- This baby horse is our beautiful neighbor… she is so affectionate now as she is used to us coming down for school everyday at noon for Schuyler to catch the bus. I remember when Gerri was counting the days for the “baby” to arrive… they were expecting this horse from Arizona – Baby LaKota arrived in September and we were so happy to see her after the long trailer ride. She was a little skiddish at first getting used to the surroundings and the new environment, but she soon found her way into our hearts. Schuyler loves them so much, LaKota is not even one years old yet! We look forward to saying hello and petting her every time we pass!
