September 19th marked day 75 for my first 75HARD experience. This is a brief summary of my experience with the program and next steps for my personal, physical and professional development that will springboard from my success in finishing this program / challenge.

What is 75Hard?
Andy Frisella’s 75Hard program is a transformational mental toughness program. It’s not a challenge, or a diet, it is a program that will challenge you.  I joined the 1st Phorm Spring Challenge last year and lost some weight and was introduced to these incredible nutrition and supplement products. They have really helped me in my training and recovery from all of the sports that I do.  I was introduced to 75Hard from my work as aa Legionnaire in the program.  Check it out my link to 1st Phorm products here and let me know if you have any questions. They taste great and they work!  I have used the 1st Phorm App for a full year to count macros for my nutrition plan and also recommend it highly!

Why 75 Hard?
Challenging myself is something that I like to do on a regular basis. I feel that challenges and programs like 75 Hard, Rowstreak, 1st Phorm seasonal challenges and more have helped me focus on positive aspects that are needed for me as a professional, an athlete and a coach. Experiencing this time period of commitment, and each day moving more toward these positive habits in my life becoming normal was tremendous.

Discipline and consistency

75 days of discipline to meet to required steps in the program. No alcohol no cheat a gallon of water each day – 2 -45 minutes working out (at least one outside) and reading 10 pages A diet of counting my macros and getting in the proper nutrition to fuel my training is key. Everything I have learned about myself through this process has been beneficial in my life. My fueling to maintain my training is key. 75 hard was a great experience to reaffirm my discipline to myself, my training and my life. I recommend it highly to reset your own plan to ensure you are on track.

Results – Physical & Mental

Happy with my results. I lost 11 pounds even though it wasn’t my focus. I learned so much with reading more than 3 books ! I want to continue this commitment to my well being and even though am taking a break for the allowed 30 days in the “Live Hard program” — I will be back to keep on the flow of good health to achieve my goals being a part of this program. My diet was to commit via the 1st Phorm app and hitting my macros and reaching my protein goal. I am a Legionnaire in the program and happy to talk about the app and the plan of action for success! It works if you put in the work.

Tips for Success

  1. Don’t commit until you are ready to go all in.  If you miss one of the requirements you start over at day 1.
  2. Download the app. It’s cheap and keeps you on track.
  3. Drink your water starting early in the morning, while you exercise and space throughout the whole day.
  4. Plan your time to read whether first thing in the morning, or a break in the middle of the day.
  5. Plan your exercise daily or if you can do a full week that is ideal. Thinking about your day ahead of time sets you up for success.
  6. For the photo – I really love the sweaty selfie and don’t forget to smile.  Celebrate your successes along the way, whether on social media or with your friends and family.
  7. Be proud of every achievement and share your success at the end!  I plan on doing this again and following the program year round!
