I felt pretty great the first 16 miles and then slowed a bit in the middle. I was on a pretty good pace and felt a little strained, but kept telling myself to feed that friendly dog! I remembered all my friends and family cheering for me too! Thanks for all your energy. More later.

We didn’t go dancing, but had a great meal in the North End at “Mama Maria’s” after my limp home to the T and back to the Marriott for a nap. : )

The hills gave me strength, it was just not my day to PR, but I am very happy for my results (faster than Chicago in October!) – – AND I qualified for Boston again with this time. Now to look ahead to the next challenge!
